Twenty-thirteen. It's been a year filled with glory and growth, followed by trials and tribulations. For Proper Trax and the tight rep it built from the previous two years' jams, exceptional tunes from unexpected corners of the globe became the norm. With plans drafted to step up the number of record productions for 2013, other circumstances ($$$) jacked that shit and torched hopes for PROPERs 006 through 009 for the year. Slightly disappointing, right?
Fuck it, we don't let shit get us down! The ruckus churned by cult jams like Alex Falk's “NARNAR,” Chris Mitchell's “Drum Trax,” and Grey People's “Abrahadabra” opened a spigot of dopeness, but that bitch we know as Cash Flow was just too tight to get it all out. It was time to take a breath and temporarily alter course for the binary realm. Thus, the House of Proper would become a haven for all trax cut from a particular cloth, and selectively groomed as Proper Trax tried and true. The result of which is now known as Definitive Findings.
Keep it proper,
